Full Moon Hike
Hike under the beautiful full moon through the redwoods from twilight to moonlight on an easy 1-3 mile hike. After the hike, stay and explore other amazing objects in the night sky through our telescopes (weather permitting) or tour the Telescope Makers Workshop. Hike will take place rain or shine.
**Advanced reservations are encouraged as our hikes sell out quickly**
(Walk-ups are welcome, however, space permitting)
Hike Definitions
- Easy: 1-3 miles, moderate to slow paced, along fairly level terrain
- Moderate: 4-5 miles with some hills, at a moderate pace
- Strenuous: 6-7 miles, hilly, at a moderate to moderately brisk pace
